Good vs. Bad Images (maximize the output of your Piece)

To ensure your satisfaction with your custom art, our artist offer a FREE imaging analysis which will deliver a detailed response based on the image you provide. Many different factors of your image will determine the final outcome of your piece.

Since every Piece is hand-drawn our talented artist can recreate most images sent to us, with a few exceptions. To recreate someones likeness we need to see the details and unfortunitely some photos do not allow us to do so.

The person or object of focus is considered a MODEL, here are few example of good and bad model images.

Good

The details of this model are well lit and the shoot is taken at a good distance. Though the feet are left of the model our artist can simulate the Piece in the same mannor or add feet to the model.

Bad

Camera phone pics... almost always a bad idea. Though, some of the new models offer decent pictures to work with you might want to stay away from camera phones all together.

This is a low-res image and the details are very hard to make out. For example, you can't even tell what color eyes the models have. We do not expect you to determine the difference between hi and low res images, that's why we offere a FREE image analysis!

Good

The models are both well lit and all details are made out beautifully. This would be exempliary of a perfect image of two models.

Bad

Dark, Dark, Dark, Dark. Any image with the model in front of a window is a bad idea. Beautiful couple, bad picture.

Good

Again, the models are well lit, the distance the shot was taken allows us to see all the details. Great smiles too!

Bad

Hopefully these cute kids aren't blind from the flash on that camera. This models on this image are over-exposed to light. Too bright is actually less compromisable than too dark.
